I had a really funny ha-ha time today. My computer at work crashed. No problem, just call the helpdesk, and get them to walk you through the reboot and linking onto the network again, right?!?! WRONG! The help desk can be accessed though two venues: Email or Phone.
The phone # was not printed ANYWHERE!!! Where does one find it? On the computer's desktop. How do you access the desktop to get the #, and how do you send an email when your computer HATES you!?!?!?
Funny how "technology" works these days...
How did I fix this? Well, I'm smart, and I realized that the Cornwall Centre in Regina runs off the same network that we do, and if they aren't having problems, they could get me the #. Yay for Cornwall's Guest Services!
