It's a bird, It's a plane...No! It's the Thursday 13!

Thirteen things I did instead of Blogging or Writing
the Thursday thirteens this summer:

  1. I re-watched all six seasons of Sex and the City on DVD.
  2. I got crazy busy working two jobs...(What's sunshine? And what does this 'fresh air' that you speak of smell like?)
  3. I started deciding what I want to do when I grow up.
  4. I began to read Wicked, but my Husband stole it from me!
  5. I developed a girl crush on Anne Lamott. I have Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith on order at the library :-)
  6. I discovered the single greatest new band on the planet: TV on the Radio Go out right now and buy their album Return to Cookie Mountain, go right now, I'll wait for you to come back!
  7. I did read all of your blogs...Religiously! I swear!
  8. I got myself reacquainted with the queen, Ms. Hepburn, by having a marathon viewing of her best movies (Roman Holiday, Sabrina, Charade, Two for the Road, My Fair Lady, Funny Face, Wait Until Dark, Love in the Afternoon, Breakfast at Tiffany's)
  9. I Planned a whole year's worth of activities for my Spark Group!
  10. I started the daunting task of taming my poor kittie's mats. He is so very anti-grooming, that this is a really rough experience for us both!
  11. I donated to the annual CFCR FM-Phasis fundraiser. You should too! The theme this year is "Inside Your Head".
  12. I have been drinking some tasty teas courtesy my favorite Blogger, and learning about the whole experience here! (Who would have guessed that Tea has it's own website!) ps - my favorite has to be the Twinings Lemon & Ginger in the AM and the Bigelow Earl Grey Green in the PM! Thanks for the cornucopia of flavours to experiment with!
  13. Finally, I was nursing a terrible crush on a certain Mr. Braff, and I alleviated it with an opening night viewing of The Last Kiss (Which, by the way, is an excellent movie, no matter what you may have heard. It is very true to life, and it delves into the theory that not every relationship comes along and is perfect. You have to work at at relationship. Just because you love someone, does not mean that you will live happily ever after!)

Sparks - those are new since I was a Guide and a Junior Leader. Sounds like you had a busy summer. :) Nice to "meet" you - this is my third week of TT. :)

I'm a HUGE Anne Lamott fan and have even met her. She's awesome. Plan B was good although I liked Traveling Mercies best. I think she's an amazing writer.

Sounds like you had an accomplished summer! I sat on my ass and typed, mostly! hehe

Thanks for stopping by Snarkypants!
