Happy birthday Virginia Woolf!
Born today in 1882, Virginia would be 124 years young... Yikes!
My girl Made the novel. She explored and defined being a woman. She wrote fiction with a flare for the slightly dramatic :-) After a battle with mental illness, she drowned herself in 1941, but to be blase, her words live on. The movie The Hours does a good job telling the story of three women, Virginia included, as she writes Mrs. Dalloway, and how the book affects people.
You still have to read one of her books...Preferably Mrs. Dalloway, or The Waves. (My Favorites)
