I'm kinda looking into changing services to WordPress or something similar. If you have any opinions, or you use another blog making program, share info please!
Tonight, I couldn't get logged into blogger for 5 hours!!! FIVE WHOLE BORING HOURS!!!
I over react, perhaps, but I'm truly getting frustrated with blogger. Any Suggestions?

Bah, this was nothing -- back in the early days of Blogger, this would happen ALL the time. All blogging services go down. Jerry uses WordPress, and the other day it not only went down, but it ate his website (in other words, it disappeared) for a few hours!
Then again, I'm just partial to Blogger. They gave me a free bunnyhug, after all!
I use a privately hosted Movable Type powered blog and love it. It's not really for those with not much technical knowledge, however.
I tried to switch to WordPress but just wasn't happy with it so I switched back. We do use WP for SaskBlogs.ca, however, so meh.
I have also tried Blogger but hated it. Oh well.
I have a blogger account, but moved to Word Press on a friend's server. It's taught me a little about PHP, and has improved my blogging experience over blogger and doing it by hand.
Ironically, Blogger was down when I went to post a comment... anyways, I had the same problems back before Google bought Blogger, so I switched to MovableType. As someone else mentioned, you need to know a little about how your webserver works. If you can FTP and CHMOD, though, you're all set! Much, much better than Blogger -- everything is customizable.
Sweatshirt!!! How come I didn't get one?!!?!?! :-)
